Joining forces in the fall of 2005, JP, John and Elissa came together to bring a new solution to organizations that were tired of the old way of working, dissatisfied with business as usual and ready to tap into the new freedom of Web 2.0.

And so, frank was born.

A team steeped in more than 50 years of collective marketing and OD experience. A trio excited by new possibilities. A group focused on integrated solutions. Three passionate professionals dedicated to organizational courage + authentic branding through social media.

John Nielson

20-year creative marketing guy who loves great brands but hates the old ways of building them. Passionate about helping to generate authentic, provocative online conversations around brands brave enough to have them. Brand Experience: American Express, Chrysler, Goodyear, Jennie-0, Medica, Medtronic, Starkey Labs, Toro, Turkish Tourism, United Health Group.


Elissa Gjertson

12 years of marketing and copywriting experience committed to approaching every project as an adventure – all to discover the uniqueness of product, service, brand, voice and innovative opportunities that connect with like-minded prospects. Brand Experience: ABC TV, AdvoLife, Better Life Media, Kerzner International, New Balance, Onan, The Star Tribune, Time Warner, Winnebago Industries.

Jacqueline Prescott

20 years experience passionately creating fabulous workplaces through inspiring organizational effectiveness and change leadership strategies and tactics (Yes, they exist!). Self-confessed transformational junkie with a bias for action. OD Experience: Aetna, Armature Software, Best Buy, BP/Amoco, Carvel Ice Cream Bakery, CIGNA, John Deere, NYNEX Material Enterprises, Raytheon, St. Paul Travelers.

We created frank to expand and compress based on client needs - not ours. And truth be told, it's taken us a while to determine who should even be on the team. Creating marketing campaigns and culture change in this fluid, new Web 2.0 world takes a unique group of thinkers, artists, leaders, facilitators, writers and technical wizards to pull it off.
